About

Who I am

I’m Ugo, a PhD student at the institute of theoretical physics of the university of Giessen. Before that I did a master degree in particle physics at the university of Strasbourg.

What I do

My research topic is focused on the theory of the strong interaction, in the low temperature and high density regime, which is particularly relevant for the study of neutron stars. In particular, I use the functional renormalization group to construct neutron star equation of state, and make prediction for their mass and radius, which can then be compared to astrophysical observations.
